Our History

For more than 50 years, Bazell and Allport Medical Centers have been providing care to the Ashland Avenue Industrial Corridor and beyond. Valued relationships with employers, employees, other medical providers, insurers, and the community have been established and strengthened during this time.

In 1999 the facilities were acquired by Neighborhood Clinics, resulting in the inclusion of additional professional and clinical services, the significant upgrading of reporting capabilities, and modernization of our equipment and facilities.

Neighborhood Clinics now provides not only Occupational Medicine at these two locations, but Primary Care and Specialty medical services to the surrounding communities. Many of our private patients are also employees of our industrial clients, and we have found that when they need work related care, they are pleased to be seen in the offices of their own Doctor.

Today these two medical centers play an important role in the wellbeing of the community, helping to assure a healthy workforce and a healthy neighborhood.
